TECH RIDER FOR SOMA by Juan Pérez

In SOMA Juan will be on stage by himself, bringing with him these instruments except for the grand piano:

  • Grand Piano *

  • Roland Juno DI

  • Pod stereo multiefect  pedal for piano

  • Organelle computer synth by Criter and Guitari

  • Typhon synth by Dreadbox and midi controller

  • Model Cycles groovebox by Elektron

* The grand piano is the central instrument at the show, the venue's piano will be used, or a grand piano needs to be rented for the purpose of the show,  always along with a proper piano chair and tuning by a professional piano technician.

ON STAGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Mics for piano sound, preference for AKG 414 or similar mic quality. (Coles ribbon, Neumann... ) 

  • Mic stands

  • Shure SM 58 and stand to feed the Pod multiefect

  • Stereo DI (or two mono DI's) for Roland keyboard

  • Stereo DI (or two mono DI's) for Pod multiefect pedal

  • Stereo DI (or two mono DI's) for Organelle synth

  • Stereo DI (or two mono DI's) for Typhon synth

  • Stereo DI (or two mono DI's) for Model Cycles synth

  • X keyboard stand for Roland Juno

  • Personal Monitor (preference for pair of 2 monitors Genelec type or similar, one to each side of the pianist)
