Matias Lopez ‘El Mati’
He was born in Barcelona in 1985. El Mati is the winner of the 2019 male conte of the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas. He has sung with some of the most prestigious flamenco musicians and dancers such an Esperanza Fernandez, Pepe Abichuela, Chano Dominguez, Jorge Pardo, and flamenco dancers as Cristina Hoyos, Antonio Canales, Andres Peña, Manuel Liñan, Pastora e Israel Galva and among other artists.
He has recorded his first work albums: "12 de 4." When he is not on tour, he sings at the prestigious Flamenco Tablaos in Sevilla and Madrid. Also, Mr. Lopez was invited as the special guest singer at the Flamenco Festivals.
